Fulfill Cabin Leader responsibilities with LDP campers
Disciple and encourage LDP Campers in their faith, lead educational workshops, serve in various areas of camp (kitchen, swim tests, etc.)
Seeks to build relationships with, lead, and care for the staff and their daily needs, spend time with campers, relieving Cabin Leaders if needed
Hold peers accountable for meeting Camp Rivercrest’s expectations
Attending Leadership Meetings, Communicate with all staff, keeping Program Manager informed

Support Staff

Top Five Responsibilities
Facilitation and safety of all high adventure activities (rockwall, zipline, high ropes, big swing)
Set up, tear, down, and facilitate all large group games (evening and night games)
Operating Free Time Activities (Lifeguarding, snack shack, airboats, paintball, black banana slide)
Serving camp in areas of need assigned by leadership or maintenance (kitchen, cleaning, etc.)
Ability to communicate with summer leadership and core staff

Preform and monitor swim tests to every camper weekly
Maintain pool chemicals and high quality pool water
Clean pool and pool bathhouse dailey before and after lifeguarding

Operate sound, propresenter, and other technical aspects of chapel services
Create appropriate atmosphere before and after chapel services
Organizing and Posting on Camp Rivercrest’s social media

Take Videos of campers throughout the week
Editing and uploading videos in a timely manner
Operate sound, propresenter, and other technical aspects of chapel services
Create appropriate atmosphere before and after chapel services
Creating a short video to post on social media after each day/session

Assisting Health Care manager as needed
Providing first aid for injuries and illness
Monitoring and distributing medication for campers and staff and keeping accurate health logs
Referring to medical agencies as needed
Ability to communicate health needs to staff, summer leadership, and core staff

Managing the Health Center
Maintaining communication with administration, staff, and parents about camper needs
Providing first aid for injuries and illness
Monitoring and distributing medication for campers and staff and keeping accurate health logs
Preparing paperwork for campers

Help manage the administrative work for summer camp to function properly
Communicate with volunteers, guests, parents, campers, and other staff via email, phone, and/or face-to-face interactions
Run various reports using the camp registration software
Facilitate with volunteer and camper check in
Help prepare camper gift bags, camper mail, and camper postcards

Operating and Supervising the Snack Shack (camp store)

Supervising the assigned Support Staff

Pay: $15/hour + Free meals
Top Responsibilities
Check/restock cleaning closets. This includes collecting, washing, and redistribution of cleaning rags and mops. Refilling and replacing the extra soap bottles.
Laundry. Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry.
Prep linens for Paul Andreas. Assist in turnover of Paul Andreas lodge and other spaces on Friday.
